The leading automotive brand in the country sets the stage for the final and fiercest competition of the Vios Cup Season 3 at the Clark International Speedway this November 11-12, Friday and Saturday. The fourth race will showcase the largest roster of drivers with a total of 63 participants consisting of 55 individual teams and 8 celebrity racers. Experience action-packed racing from your favorite drivers as they battle it out for the championship of the biggest motorsports event in the Philippines!
For this finale, expect a more challenging Waku-Doki experience as double points for each race will be implemented across all three categories: Super Sporting Class, Sporting Class, and Celebrity/Promotional Class. For the Super Sporting Class, Andres Calma is leading the pack with a running score of 125 points with a gap of 62 points from Allan Uy, the second in line with 63 points. Miko Maristela, Sean Velasco, and Miguel Diaz fight for the top of the Bridgestone Sporting Class while it could be anyone’s game for the ROTA Promotional Class.
The audience is in for a treat as Toyota brings back its celebrity racers! Watch out for multi-awarded actor Jericho Rosales, models Phoemela Baranda & Fabio Ide, TV hosts & radio jocks Joyce Pring & Sam YG, Filipina actresses Arci Muñoz & Jasmine Curtis-Smith and sports TV host Jinno Rufino. Moreover, spectators can expect the special participation of Toyota Motor Philippines’ (TMP) very own President, Mr. Satoru Suzuki in the ROTA Promotional Class.
Before race day, fans can also cheer for their favorite racers during the meet and greet on November 11, Friday at 5 pm in the SM Clark Activity Center. Racing and motorsports enthusiasts James Deakin and Gaby dela Merced will once again host the event program, taking everyone through the excitement of the fast and furious ride around the course.
The whole family will surely enjoy as more food trucks and Toyota car club displays will also be available. Guests of all ages can join in the heart-pounding fun with skid carts and other various exciting activities lined up throughout the venue.
